Blessed to be able to share some images from the AK Steel Research & Innovation Center project I shot for BHDP and Al. Neyer. I agree with AK Steel CEO Roger Newport…“The state of the art within the facility is a testament to AK’s history…but also their future”. What a great facility to work and innovate out of!

Back To Nature | Costa Rica
Finally getting a chance to put together a small gallery of fine art landscape images I took in Costa Rica. It had been a while since I was able to dedicated a vacation to photography. Costa Rica did not disappoint! What a beautiful country full of diverse climates and animals. In a weeks time I was able to hit the ocean, visit the Manuel Antonio National Park, Hike to several Water falls and visit a large “Active” volcano. All while stepping over or around crazy looking animals! I’ll be adding to this gallery, but here are a few from the trip. Enjoy!

Riverside Methodist Hospital Gardens | M+A Architects
I seem to be working the drone into more and more projects. I’m not sure there is a better fit then a mid to low angle for landscape design! Crazy what a different perspective can provide. Great work as usual from M+A Architects with some help from Planit Studios. Looks and feels like a nice place to hangout.

Moriroku North America & Brand Integration | M+A Architects
How do you incorporate 350 years of service and history into a facility? No idea, I’m just glad I only had the task of photographing it. The actual design and brand integration is much better left to the highly skilled team at M+A Architects. Photographing these elements are not necessarily easy, but you must tip your hat to the process of designing and integrating graphics that speak to the brand culture, inspire and grab your attention. Hopefully these images capture the design quality and integration into Moriroku’s facility.

Water Street District | Crawford Hoying & Brackett Builders
It’s awesome to see all the development and progress being made around Ohio. Sure, as an architectural photographer, it is good for business, but as a resident, home owner and forward thinker it great to see us invest and improve for our future. Dayton and Crawford Hoying along with Brackett Builders are a big part of the conversation and change! Honored to have the opportunity to capture finished photography of the Water Street District. Here are just a few from the first phase.

Magnanni | Commercial Photography Columbus Ohio
Glad to see these images turn out so well. That said, the majority who view these images on this post will not be able to appreciate the level of detail in the final images. That and the level of quality handcrafted into every one of these Magnanni shoes. Quality craftsmanship by Magnanni, Quality architecture and design by m+a architects and Quality photos…but that’s just my opinion.

Liberty Town Center | The Fillmore
Another successful trip to the Liberty Center. These are a few images from The Fillmore one of two onsite apartment buildings. Interior images, dealing with natural light, artificial light, people, materials, etc it’s never easy!
